Pharmacy Technician - 4 days week! - Athlone, Co. Westmeath

Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a busy pharmacy based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath!

What you need to know:
This is a 6-month maternity cover role starting in May 2026. It is a full-time position across 4 days per week, with every second Saturday required. There are no late nights, Sundays, or bank holiday shifts. You’ll be supported by a strong and experienced team, helping you manage a steady flow of customers. The MPS dispensing system is used in store.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting in the dispensary
• Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries or requests
• Preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients 
• Managing and monitoring the prescribed dosages
• Taking care of paperwork and monthly claims (if needed)
• Providing excellent customer service
• Any other duties as required

What we’re looking for:  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
• Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
• Good time management 
• Passion for the delivery of excellent customer service  

What we require:  

• Higher certificate in Irish Pharmacy Technician studies; IPU course.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician working in Ireland.
