Support Pharmacist
Clarity is seeking a Part Time Support Pharmacist for a non customer facing role in a Homecare Pharmacy in North Dublin.

The role is 3 days per week - 9am -5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (7.5 hour day), no late nights or weekends. The pharmacy is not open to the public but this is a dispensing role. 

The pharmacy dispense Renal Dialysis fluids on behalf of a Healthcare company to fill the HSE Renal Home Patient Service. The role involves prescription management, dispensing and is between an office and WDA warehouse setting (to check the dialysis fluids prior to shipping to patients at home). 


The Pharmacist position is an exciting opportunity which offers exposure to the dispensing of medicinal products in a homecare pharmacy which lies within a pharmaceutical industry setting. The pharmacist is accountable and responsible for the following activities:

 Daily home patient dispensing of prescription only medicines and ancillary medicinal products.
 Performance of administration tasks associated with the dispensary operation
 Maintenance of professional status and standards. Participating in continuous professional development and complying with site specific training requirements.
 Generating all relevant paper work and dispensing records and ensuring records are up to date and stored in accordance
with the relevant pharmacy legislation
 Compliance to PSI standards and regulations
 Compliance to GDP (Good Distribution Practice), as applicable
 Compliance to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements

 Masters in Pharmacy
 Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
 Minimum of one year experience in a dispensary that is registered as a retail pharmacy business by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (experience as a pharmacy intern will be considered)

 Meticulous and demonstrate good attention to detail
 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and respond well to time constraints
 Good problem solving skills
 Highly motivated self-starter
 Good professional standards and attention to detail
 Ability to work in a team based environment, and the ability to manage a wide range of specific tasks
 Good organisational and coordination skills
 Good communicator and team worker

 There is flexibility around the day/times of working day(s).
Training is provided.
