Part time Pharmacist - Birmingham

Clarity is recruiting for Part-time Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Birmingham.

What you need to know:

This is a part time permanent role, 17 Hours per week. Working Pattern: Monday and Tuesday: 09.00 - 18.00 

Our Client is looking for a new qualified or experienced Pharmacist with the drive to be proactive in providing an array of services in a community pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to learn and has a really hands-on approach to the way they do things. User or open to learning how to use the ProScript Connect system.

What you'll be doing:

• Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
• Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
• Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
• Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
• Order and stock medications and medical supplies.
• Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
• Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.
