Clarity Group are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join one of Ireland’s largest healthcare recruitment agencies. The suitable candidate should have at least 5 years business development experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry in the Republic of Ireland.

The role is fully remote but the successful candidate is expected to spend the majority of the time travelling throughout the Republic of Ireland. They should have a proven track record of driving growth with an extensive network in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, care homes, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and understanding their recruitment needs.
  • Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, market opportunities, and challenges.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring terms align with company goals and standards.
  • Networking & Brand Representation
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at client acquisition.
  • Collaboration & Team Support
  • Work closely with sales teams to align business development efforts with sales strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other sales staff on business development best practices.

Key Competencies & Skills
  • Proven Experience & Track Record
  • A minimum of 5 years of business development experience within the healthcare industry in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition, contract negotiation, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Healthcare Industry Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of the Irish healthcare system, recruitment challenges, and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of key players in the healthcare sector, including private and public organizations.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills
  • Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
