Clarity Recruitment were delighted to be selected as one of the few exhibitors who were lucky enough to take part in the Nursing Home’s Ireland Overseas Recruitment Event on Thursday the 26th of January.
We arrived early to the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel for set up from 7.30am. Got ourselves organised and had time for a nice cuppa before the event kicked off at 8.45.
The morning started with some networking and the exhibition where we were welcomed to the event by the lovely Niamh Heneghan, NHI HR Advisor. The Owners, HR and Management team of the Nursing Home’s in attendance had a full day of training and support from different speakers and representatives from the Atypical Working Scheme, the NMBI, The Royal College of Surgeons and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
The topics covered a wide variety of issues and concerns Nursing Home’s have at the moment regarding staffing. And outlined the recruitment process for the Homes who in the future may wish to seek oversea’s staff to fill their recruitment needs.
