Clarity Group are very excited to announce that we have partnered up with a blood transfusion clinic based in Cork City. This collaboration will allow us to support the clinic in filling their open nursing vacancies, including the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 2.
Our partner is a long-standing blood and tissue services provider in Ireland, having been established in 1965. They are responsible for collecting, processing, testing and distributing blood and blood products across the country. Additionally, they provide tissue services to hospitals in Ireland. Blood transfusions are an integral part of the healthcare sector, with over 1000 people requiring a blood transfusion every week for various medical reasons.
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 is a crucial role that will lead, manage and coordinate the nursing team to ensure a successful and efficient service to the blood donors. Working inn conjunction with the Assistant Director of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the management of the whole blood and apheresis clinic and team.
The blood donation clinic operates at varying hours from Monday to Friday, and flexibility is required as the clinics may be required to open at weekends or different hours. The successful clinical nurse manager will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week and receive a minimum of 27 days of annual leave. All benefits and salary are in line with the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
